If you do live in the area shaded in blue then you are voting with Prince Georges County and have been since the redistricting was done after the 2000 census.  That means that even though you live in Calvert County your votes are counted with Prince Georges County Legislative District 27A and you are represented by their State Delegates Proctor and Vallerio.  This is very unfair to the residents of LD 27A.  Of the 2010 population count of 90,171 for the above 4 precincts and PG County, only 11,907 are from Calvert County.  We are so outnumbered that we have no ability to influence outcomes in this district either by voice or vote.  According to the Maryland Department of Planning, the ideal number of people for a two-member district would be 81,875 and for a single member district 40,938.
